The Office for Cooperation with Civil Society received a notice on the results of the selection of projects within the "Europe for Citizens" program for the measures of Town Twinning and Network of Towns. These are the results of the project proposals submitted in the call terminated on September 3, 2018. What is interesting is that users from all 34 countries participating in this program will participate, either as carriers or partners, in implementing approved projects in both dimensions.
Within the scope of 2.1. measure Town Twinning, a total of 292 projects from 27 countries were submitted and 118 projects were approved.
Of the 6 projects with leads from Serbia, the project of the citizens' association "Libero" from Belgrade, entitled "SELECT EU" in the amount of 25,000 euros, was approved.
At the same time, the actors from Serbia will participate in the partnership status on 16 supported projects, with leads from Romania, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia and Greece.
Among these are: village Nikinci (partner on three approved projects), local community Martonoš (partner on two approved projects), Association of young enthusiasts from Kragujevac, Cultural and Art Society Sladkovič, Tourist Organization of Sremska Mitrovica, Croatian Cultural Education Society Matija Gubec - Tavankut, Danube Association 1245 from Sremski Karlovci, Becej Municipality, Adi Endre Culture Association from Tornjoš (on two projects), Destination Management Organizations from Kanjiža, Local Community Mali Idjos and Aleksinac Municipality.
Within the scope of 2.2. Networks of Towns there were 141 project proposals submitted from 25 participating countries in the Program, and a total of 16 projects were approved.
Of the 5 projects submitted, no projects with leads from Serbia were approved, but two organizations will participate in the partnership status on 3 supported projects, with leads from Italy and Portugal - the municipality of Cajetina (two approved projects) and CET platform.
