The Office for Cooperation with Civil Society, as a national contact point for the European Union Program "Europe for Citizens" in Serbia organized two events in Novi Sad at the end of June in order for interested civil society representatives to better prepare project applications for the September call.
On June 24, 2019, in cooperation with the Foundation "Novi Sad 2021 - European Capital of Culture", the presentation of the Program was organized primarily for cultural institutions, as well as other interested actors - civil society organizations in the field of culture and art from the territory of Novi Sad and Zone 021 ( Sremski Karlovci, Beocin, Irig). The following day, in cooperation with the EU info Center in Novi Sad, we organized an info session presenting the goals and priorities of the "Europe for Citizens" Program, the structure and deadlines for project proposals.
At the end of both presentations, Sanja Atanasković Opačić, Head of the International Cooperation and European Integration Group, held individual consultations on specific project proposals and answered a number of questions from interested participants.
We remind all stakeholders that September 1 is the deadline for submission of project proposals under Chapter Two - Democratic Engagement and Civic Participation, within the framework of the Twinning of Cities, Networks of Cities and Civil Society Organizations Projects.
