"Europe for Citizens" at the Second OPENS Fundraising Congress - FundCon

The Office for Cooperation with Civil Society also participated in the second OPENS FundCon congress on fundraising organized by OPENS 2019, which was held from September 20-22 in Novi Sad. It is a three-day congress that brings together, at the same table, socially responsible companies, foundations, embassies, as well as the state itself, together with civil society organizations.

FundCon is primarily intended for representatives of civil society organizations from Serbia, youth offices, as well as representatives of companies wishing to start socially responsible business, representatives of institutions and individuals involved in project management. Participants had the opportunity to gather knowledge, ideas and contacts and to get practical tips for raising the necessary funds.

Within the Congress, the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society held a presentation of the Europe for Citizens Program and the opportunities it provides, and provided information on other activities of the Office that may be of great importance to representatives of civil society organizations seeking funding for project ideas in different areas. The Office also had its own booth at the Master Congress Center, where participants were able to consult representatives of the Office regarding their project ideas and to obtain more information regarding the Europe for Citizens program.
