Representatives of the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society, as the national contact point for the EU Program "Europe for Citizens" in the Republic of Serbia, participated in the informal meeting of national contact points for this program, held on November 26-27 in Helsinki, organized by The Finnish National Education Agencies, as national contact point in this country, in cooperation with the European Commission.
The meeting was attended by representatives from 22 participating countries as well as representatives of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs and the Education, Audiovisual and Cultural Policy Executive Agency (EACEA).
On the first day of the meeting, they discussed the changes in the European Commission and the new Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values program, which will succeed the Europe for Citizens Program in the new Financial Perspective 2021-2027. In addition, particular attention was given to discussing the transition between the two programs. Also, the meeting presented information regarding the results of the 2018 call, the results of the first call in 2019, and general information about the second call in 2019.
On the second day, the new New Funding & Opportunities Tender portal was presented, followed by a discussion in the World Café format on how to better promote and communicate approved projects and current programs and how best to prepare for the promotion of the new program in 2021.
