SEKO Workshop

Office for cooperation with Civil Society of The Government of Republic of Serbia has organized on February 3rd 2012 workshop „EU Advocacy workshop“, that was designed for SEKO representatives. The workshop was held by Tanja Hafner Ademi, executive director of Balkan Civil Society Development Network (BCSDN).

Balkan Civil Society Development Network has been working for many years on straightening CSOs through exchanging and developing local practices, various concepts and capacity building of actors in this sector.

The main aim of this workshop was CSOs inSerbiacapacity building through exchanging capacities with partners in region. Special attention was given to the results of the analysis of EU policies towards civil society in the accession process of the Western Balkans, the processes of representation and advocacy in defining priorities and programming of EU financial support for civil society development, channels of communication with European institutions, cooperation with EU networks and other relevant topics.
