EFC presentation in Novi Sad

An informational workshop of the Europe for Citizens Programme and its priorities, for the period 2016-2020, was held on the 3rd of February in Novi Sad. 53 representatives of CSOs and local governmentsparticipated at this meeting.

The participants were addressed by Jelena Pajović Van Reenen on behalf of the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society and Vesna Piperski Tucakov, Under Secretary of the Secretariat for Interregional Cooperation and Local Self-Government.

Topics that were most interested for participants were: marking the beginning of the war in the former Yugoslavia in 1991, democratic transition, EU accession and solidarity in time of crisis. The workshop was organized by the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society, in cooperation with the Provincial Secretariat for Interregional Cooperation and Local Self-Government.
