The representative of the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society participated as one of the speakers at the conference "The future of the border regions towards the EU", held in Knjazevac on March 16.

The aim of this event was further support to the border regions in the process of preparation for European integration. The mandate and scope of work of the Office was presented, particularly in the field of international cooperation and European integration, with emphasis on the contribution of the Office to involve civil society in the process of EU member integration. Most of the presentation was dedicated to the program Europe for Citizens and the possibilities available to CSOs and local self-governments in the border areas when it comes to participation in this program.

The conference was organized by Institute for csoss-border areas and RARIS with the support of the municipality of Knjaževac.
