Office for Cooperation with Civil Society has received a notice about the selection results within the European remembrance Strand of the Europe for Citizens Programme. These are the results of the project proposals submitted in the March 2016 Call for Proposals.
Within the Strand European remembrance there were 468 project proposals submitted from 30 countries, 38 projects were approved and 2 projects were on the reserve list. 24% of all proposals related to the annual priority dedicated to the commemoration of the Beginning of the Yugoslav Wars.
From a total of 13 projects submitted with applicants from Serbia,one project of the Center for Cultural Decontamination was approved, that brings together partners from Serbia, Austria, Denmark, Italy and Belgium.
Following organizations and institutions from Serbia had partnership status in the approved projects: Photo Association of Serbia, Club for Youth Empowerment 018, Lawyers Committee for Human Rights, Humanitarian Law Center, Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, Ignorant teacher and his Committees, Civic initiatives, Jewish Community of Subotica, Centre for local democracy, University of Kragujevac, Association for social history - Euroclio, Centre for cultural Decontamination, Volunteer center of Vojvodina and Vojvodina Museum. Center for History, Democracy and Reconciliation is a partner in one of the projects on the reserve list.
