"Speed dating: Youth organizations and EU funds", quick introduction of representatives of youth organizations with representatives of the European Union programmes present in Serbia, was organized by the EU Info Center in cooperation with the EU Delegation to Serbia, as part of the joint campaign for young people called "Europe for you". Representative of the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society, Marina Tadic, spoke with numerous participants about the “Europe for Citizens” Programme.
The event was organized on March 28, 2017 at the premises of the EU Info Center, and besides the EFC programme, other EU programs available to users from Serbia were presented - Creative Europe, MEDIA programme, COSME, Erasmus +, Horizont 2020 as well as the Civil Society Facilityt Programme of the EU Delegation in Serbia and the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights, but also accessible support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and TACSO resource center of Civic Initiatives.
In his welcome speech, representative of the EU Delegation in Serbia Stephen Hudolin expressed his satisfaction with the great response of the young people, and he invited them to actively engage in the reform processes supported by the EU. Representative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Marija Petronijevic, announced the new call for co-financing projects approved by the EU and other international donors. Secretary General of the National Youth Council of Serbia Nina Zivanovic also addressed the participants.
More than 30 youth organizations from Serbia participated in this interactive event.
