The Office for Cooperation with Civil Society participated in the activities of the EFC project "UNITED", conducted by the Municipality of Raska. This project was supported in 2016 under Town Twining Measure. A joint event was organized on May 30, 2017 in Kopaonik, with the aim of presenting the work of the Office and the EFC programme.
The presentation was opened by Ms. Tijana Pajevic Jovovic, Assistant to the Mayor of the Municipality of Raska for Local Economic Development, who emphasized the strong orientation of the Raska municipality when it comes to the use of international donor funds. Danilo Rodic, on behalf of the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society, presented the work of the Office and various types of support for civil society organizations and local self-government that the Office offers. Presentation of the EFC programme, as well as several examples of good practice of participation of domestic actors in this EU programme, was held by Marina Tadic, representative of the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society.
Nearly 40 participants took part in the presentation, among which were the international participants of the project "UNITED" from Bulgaria, Lithuania and Latvia. After the presentation, a live discussion was opened, while the participants of the Raska municipality project highlighted their positive experiences in cooperation and announced the possibility of its further strengthening through the EFC programme.
