Europe for Citizens: Results of the March Call for Town Twining and Networks of Towns

The Office for Cooperation with Civil Society was informed about the results of the selection within the "Europe for Citizens" programme for the Measures Town Twining and Networks of Towns.

A total of 482 project proposals from 24 countries were submitted within the framework of Town Twining, while 134 projects were approved.

Of the total of 9 submitted projects with applicants from Serbia, 4 have been approved – projects submitted by the Hungarian Cultural Center Nepker from Subotica, the municipality of Backi Petrovac, "The Movement for Small Markets" and the Libero association. Also, another 25 different actors from Serbia are partners on approved projects from other countries. Some of the actors are partners in several approved projects.

A total of 143 project proposals from 26 countries were submitted within Networks of Towns, and 17 projects were approved.

None of the 4 projects with applicants from Serbia was approved. On the other hand, 7 organizations and local self-governments from Serbia are partners on approved projects from other countries.
