The Office for Cooperation with Civil Society as the national contact point for the EFC programme organized on September 21st 2017 an info session dedicated to the call for operating grants , a three-year structural support to European Think Tank organizations and civil society organizations at the European level.
Ms Sanja Atanasković Opačić opened the meeting and greeted the participants on behalf of the Office. Afterwards, Marina Tadić, a contact person for the EFC programme, presented the opportunities and conditions for CSOs from Serbia for obtaining an operating grant, as well as information on the priorities of the call itself, and the necessary documentation.
Vladimir Pavlović from the Belgrade Open School presented the experience of this organization in the application and implementation of the operating grant, which was approved within 2014 call.
We remind that the call for the operating grants under the "Europe for Citizens" programme is open until October 18, 2017. Aim of the call is to select organizations whose activities have European outreach and which, through their regular activities, can contribute to achievement of the objectives of this program.
Selected organizations will receive structural support ie. operating grants through which the operating costs of the organization can be co-financed, so that they can independently and smoothly carry out activities in accordance with the programme objectives. Organizations that receive operating grants must ensure maximum visibility of the programme objectives, and it is particularly important that through its activities the organizations have to reach the local and regional level, as well as to include young people.
