Closing Conference of the EFC project “Celebrating Solidarity”

Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation organized on 26th of September, 2017 in Belgrade the closing event of their project “Celebrating Solidarity”, that was supported in 2016 within the Europe for Citizens programme (EFC), measure – Civil Society Projects.

Director of the Foundation Ana Koeshall greeted the conference participants, while opening speakers were also Natasa Kovacevic and Marina Tadic, on behalf of the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society as the national contact point for the EFC programme. In her address Ms Tadic emphasized significance of civil society activities for strengthening solidarity in one society.

This conference and the EFC project “Celebrating Solidarity” itself promoted numerous examples of philanthropy and solidarity, as well as various project activities conducted by the project partners from Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania, Poland and Hungary. One of the conference panels was dedicated to media role in promoting philanthropy and solidarity.
