On March 29, 2018, the Office for Local Economic Development of Novi Sad in cooperation with the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society organized the presentation of the program "Europe for Citizens" and „Creative Europe“ in Novi Sad.

The aim of the meeting was to get as many institutions and organizations in the field of culture and education from this city familiar with the basic goals, areas, deadlines and opportunities for financing projects within these two programs.

The gathering was opened by Gordana Dimitrijevic from the Office for Local Economic Development of Novi Sad and the presentation of the mentioned programs as well as several examples of good practice of participation of domestic organizations in these programs were held by Sanja Atanasković Opačić, the head of the Group for International Cooperation and European Integration and the National Contact Point for the program " Europe for Citizens "and Dimitrije Tadic, Head of the Creative Writing Group Serbia.

Over 50 participants took part in the presentation, among which were representatives of various city administrations, cultural centers, educational institutions - primary and secondary schools, libraries, museums, theaters and other cultural institutions, as well as civil society organizations from the municipality of Novi Sad.
